Botanic Gardens
Its easy to fall into the trap of thinking that the best attractions and places to visit in a new city are those you read about most. But after asking a local insider for some tips on where else to go in Singapore that perhaps wasn’t so well known but equally worth seeing, I wound up at the MacRitchie nature reserve – home to the treetop walk. This part of Singapore also feels a world away from the speedy taxi drivers and red traffic lights. Best of all, it’s entirely free to visit!
Getting there: Nearest MRT is Orchard MRT or Botanic Gardens (Circle Line).
World of Wanderlust was a guest to Singapore with thanks to the Singapore Tourism Board. As always, my opinion is my own.
