Life Lessons We Learnt From Friends

I first watched Friends when I was little. And I won't lie I haven't stopped watching since. I watch it most days and the likes of Chandler, Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Ross and Joey have been with me for most of my life. In fact I feel like I'm part of the crew now. After several years of watching Friends most days, I pretty much know the episodes off by heart. What you realise after watching them over and over, is the life messages that you actually may have missed first time around. So today for all my fellow Friends enthusiasts, the life lessons our six chums taught us.
It's okay to eat cheesecake off the floor.

It's never okay for your ex to date your sister.

Calling someone fat is not cool and karma will probably repay you by having your toe chopped off.

Being on a break with someone does not give you a free pass to sleep with someone else.

That you shouldn't care what others think of you.

One Mississippi, two Mississippi, is not the best way of counting to three.

Leather trousers aren't the best to wear when it's warm.

Always check if houses have UV lights.

You're means You are, Your means Your.

Carrying a sofa up several flights of stairs is never the wisest decision.

You can do anything if you put your mind to it. You have the power to change your course of action.

That putting a turkey on your head may not be the cleverest idea.

Sometimes all you need is a hug from your BFF.

Home waxing kits may not be as pain free as you hoped.

That dating your assistant at work is never a good idea.

That if you like someone, you should tell them before it's too late and they meet someone else.

Body confidence Joey Tribbiani style. That you should eat what you want, enjoy it and not worry. Your body is amazing no matter what your size or shape is.

That it's okay that you don't know where you're going in life. No one does.

I hear ya.
