Wh- Question Bingo

Every year there are a few resources that I gravitate to. They are my go-to’s. The perfect combination of being at my students’ level and also understandable for them. It’s not too confusing or too hard. These resources change a bit each year depending on who my students are and what level they are at. But these resources tend to be easy for me to implement and I always grab resources that can easily fill a few minutes here or there. It’s those few minutes of down time that’ll get you. Because you know my mantra – down time = problem behavior. Make every second count and keep every second busy.

This year, one of my most frequently used resources is my Wh- Question Bingo. I have been using the Who Game with my lower group and focus on the Where and When with my mid level group. I can adapt this resource to fill a 2-3 minute gap or expand it into a 15 minute activity. And it focuses on one of my all time most critical must-hit-every-day skills – answer who, what, where, when, and why questions. And guess what guys? Why are bingos so effective? Because it is a game! It’s not work. We are playing. Wink, wink.

This Wh- Question Bingo aligns perfectly with my Wh- Mega Pack – one of my all time best sellers. If you use that resource, these bingos are a must!

There are 6 separate bingo games included in this resource!

Responding to who, what, where, when, and why questions can be extremely challenging for children with autism, cognitive impairments, or speech disorders. Practice answering questions using these fun bingo games! Using visuals, multiple examples, and structure will allow students to learn this skill successfully with this resource! Working on each wh- question in isolation will allow students to identifying the patterning in responding. The wh- mix up game will help teach discrimination!
